Production House

You're a busy little production house and you're the content manager, overseeing everything going out this week. Can you get your ducks in a row and organise everyone to work together or will you crumble under the immense pressure of video production, sponsorshipss, opening shop, recording podcasts and recruiting staff? Let's find out!

What you need to play:

• Writing tool (pencil/pen).
• Two, six sided dice.
• Six tokens to represent starting resources (coins or skittles will do).

In Production house, you begin by rolling a six sided die to determine how many resources you begin the day with. Using those resources you can fund any of the first five categories of business; research, recording, rendering, publishing or game craft.

Every resource you spend will unlock another area in the business, colour in your spent resources into the squares until you run out. Aim to achieve as much Victory Points at the end of the game which is tallied with your Games, Views, Profit and Fame values. However, be careful you don't run into too much rent, it's pretty pricey these days!

This game was designed and produced within seven days for theYogscast Jingle Game Jam 2024. The theme was "Everything Has A Cost."
